Dunedin Stirling Soccer Club is excited to offer our own Academy program for boys and girls, ages 5-10. This program is designed to give players of all levels the opportunity to develop technically and tactically as an individual. Our Academy Director and licensed coaches are qualified to provide training and mentorship to all players.
Our focus is to encourage soccer development through experience and modeling by coaches. Each player will have the ball at their feet to grow confidence and feel successful by achieving new levels of play.
Practices will be held twice a week, on Monday & Wednesdays, and Small Sided Games on Friday evenings to implement practice techniques into game like scenarios. Players will have the opportunity to learn a variety of positions at these games on Friday’s.
At the end of the season, the Academy Director may choose to select players to grow into the next possible challenging environment on our competitive side. Guidance from coaches and the Academy Director will be provided to let you know that your child is ready to make the transition. Tryouts will be hosted in May every year for the upcoming season.
